After the success of collecting a world record in 2019 for Nanak Rhapsody, we are determined to bring a record-setting event, which is open to absolutely everyone!
We shall be attempting to enter Teg Bahader Rhapsody the musical performance event into ‘World Record Books’ based on Guru Teg Bahader’s spiritual compositions. Where 400 musicians will take part from all faiths, ethnicities, and backgrounds, promoting the spirit of co-operation and positive community cohesion; while celebrating Guru Teg Bahader’s universal message of passion, compassion, peace, equality, and justice, regardless of gender, caste, colour or creed.
To be involved in Teg Bahader Rhapsody musical event you will need to be a moderate/intermediate to expert level in one of the following:
Strings: Dilruba, Sitar, Tauss, Sarangi, Rubab, Siranda, Taanpura, Swarmandal, Tumbi, Guitar, Harp, Ukulele
Wind: Trumpet, Trombone, Flute, Oboe, Bassoon, French horn, Irish whistle, Clarinet
Percussion: South Asian percussion – Tabla, Jodi, Dholki, Pakhavaj, Naal, and Tarang
Afro-Caribbean percussion – Dundun, Djembe, Batok or Steelpan
Choral: Hymn Singers (Kirtaniyae)
